All our documents and apps are web-based. We may need a site-to-site VPN in the future, looking at IP camera systems at each station and it would be nice to have them linked. It would be nice to be able to manage the networks remotely but TBH it's all dumb now and working OK. Plus, they are cheaper.
You can drop the cloud key off your list if you're willing to roll your own management server to adopt the devices to. WIth the USG you'll get quite a bit of network information in the controller that's otherwise missing. It's neat, but isn't much of a gamechanger except when I do remote deployments where I will never be hands on with the devices.
IMO, the edgerouter has far better features and configuration options, I'd go with that and the edgeswitch most likely. I like both versions well enough. I'd still recommend saving the money and going with the edge- labelled devices, you can always use SNMP to monitor network health, though that may add another management interface for you to monitor. All of their devices are controlled via the cloud.
You are able to manage all of the AP, switches etc from anywhere.

Limey, what is your reasoning for going with the mesh equipment? Does your site have need for mesh over a normal WAP setup? Spinning up the controller on a digital ocean Linux vm is fast, very easy, and will allow you to control both sites in one system. It will definitely make configuration and management easier for you. Or if you can't manage the Edgerouter's firewall a USG could help you out too.
Edgeswitch would let you easily create a VLAN to keep them seperate from the rest of the network. Depending on bandwidth you might only need one NVR and stream recordings over the VPN but having two is probably not a bad idea if only for redundancy.We proudly present the latest version of our product.
